Having a wide angle lens really make a difference in a point and a digital camera?

I am torn between the Canon SD750 IS SD800 y. Another difference is that the SD800 is a wide angle lens and SD750. But for this type of point and shoot camera does it really make a difference? Thanks for the tips!

The SD800 IS only zoom equivalent to 105 mm, while the SD700 IS, ranging from 140 mm. Although I am spending your money, maybe you can wait until the new SD850 IS-shelves. This is an update the super popular SD700 IS. The 850 has the latest DIGIC III image processor with face detection and is 8 hours instead of 6 or 7 PM. You know how to read these cards I can say, then consider this issue and see what improvements there are others. Remember to take into account that the optical zoom to eq. 140 mm. The difference between 105 mm and 140 mm is much more interesting to me that the difference between 28 mm and 35 mm.
